  • In the eighteenth century Thomas Pink made the best hunting coats money could buy. The expression “In the Pink” originates from the pride that English gentlemen took from wearing one of Pink’s coats.
  • The brand was revived in the 1980s by 3 pioneering brothers with a simple yet unique formula: to sell the essentially classic product of luxury Jermyn Street shirts to a new generation of consumers, providing innovative designs with excellent service in a modern, relaxed environment.
  • The first Thomas Pink store opened in Chelsea, London selling the brand’s distinctive classic cut shirts in strong and stylish colours and updated weaves. The second store was in Cullum Street, and subsequently further stores opened in the West End and the City to reach potential customers at work and play.
  • To fulfill their promise of excellence Thomas Pink provided a personal service to every customer and all purchases were distinctively wrapped. The store design was welcoming and for the first time in history a Jermyn Street shirt maker opened its doors to Saturday shoppers.
  • 2003 saw the launch of ‘Personally Pink’, Pink’s made to order shirt service, enabling customers to have their shirts made individually by appointment with a tailor at the Jermyn Street store, or at their home or office in London’s West End or City areas. Personally Pink was launched in the US in autumn 2004 at the Madison Avenue store. The personal shopping service at Thomas Pink continues to offer expert advice including a special service for grooms and ushers offering sartorial advice for their wedding day. An alterations and ironing service is also available along with the opportunity to have your purchases delivered straight to your office or hotel.
  • Pink has evolved into a leading luxury shirt brand with an increasingly international customer. The distinctive pink packaging has become instantly recognisable and can be spotted across Europe and the States making Pink ‘the shirt brand for the style conscious’.
